There is good news for the candidates waiting for recruitment for government jobs in the state of Bihar. Bihar Staff Selection Commission has started the new recruitment process for various departments. The Staff Commission has issued a notification for the bumper posts of Office Attendant. Interested and eligible candidates can immediately apply online through the official website of BPSC. The last date of application has been kept till 26 September 2025. Through this recruitment, BPSC will fill the posts of Office Attendant.
Through this recruitment, 3727 vacant posts of Office Attendant are being filled in various departments, due to which the selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of written examination and document verification. Recruitment Selected candidates will get a monthly salary from ₹ 18000 to ₹ 56900 (Pay Level 1), along with other facilities of the state government will be available.

Eligibility Criteria for Posts
Candidates applying for this recruitment should have passed class 10th and its equivalent class from a recognised board in India. As far as the age limit is concerned, the minimum age of the candidates has been fixed as 18 years as of August 01, 2025. The maximum age of general category candidates is 37 years, the maximum age of OBC and general category female candidates is 40 years, and the maximum age of SC and ST candidates is 42 years.
Exam Fee
The application fee for general and OBC candidates is Rs 540, the application fee for SC and ST, Divyang and general category women of Bihar state is Rs 135.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through a written examination. In the written examination, candidates will be asked 100 multiple-choice type questions of 400 marks from Mathematics, General Knowledge and General Hindi subjects. The duration of the examination has been fixed at two hours. In the exam, 4 marks have been fixed for each correct answer and a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer.
